Nice yoga mat rug! Good for Ashtanga or just doing any yoga you like, on a rug. It’s woven pretty well. Not super loose. It’s not quite as tight weave as the Ashtanga/yoga rugs that my Ashtanga teacher brought back from India this year. It’s still pretty durable though, compared to a regular woven floor runner rug. It is soft after washing it. Not scratchy at all. It’s a comfortable mat. I actually was hoping it would be more grippy than it is (because we have a more grippy Ashtanga rug in the house that I like and compare this one to), but I think it’s still a nice rug! Much more grippy than the recycled sari yoga mat rugs. The colors are nice. They’re still bright after washing. The rug washed and dried well. It's made well. It’s pretty good quality! Read more

I actually use this as a runner accent rug to go at the foot of my bed. It’s very comfortable for my bare feet. I have a plush fluffy rug on the side of my bed. It very good quality because it gets moved around when I scoot the bed. I have it situated under the polls to keep it flush to the ground. So I can say that it’s very durable. I also like the Earth tonish color that matches with my pictures as well as my bedding. But the greatest thing, is that it’s comfortable on my feet. Read more

Cotton is not usually the material one thinks of when yoga mat shopping, but I couldn’t resist learning about the benefits of a cotton yoga mat. This is a beautifully handcrafted cotton rug that was billed as a yoga mat. It's awfully nice to just use just for yoga. It's very thick and tightly hand woven and has a variety of other uses such as picnics, the beach, camping or to use at the house as a runner. Very well made and it should last and wear well. Kind of pricy but worth it because of the quality and the material. The color, sort of a marigold orangey yellow, is pretty as well. Read more

Admittedly, I don’t do a lot of yoga so I got this to use as a rug or playmat for my toddler. When it arrived I immediately noticed the outstanding quality. The pink color is perfectly vibrant and super saturated, it’s perfect. The weave is tight and consistent and uniform throughout. This would work really well with those sticky rug grippers to keep it from slipping or moving about inside the house. I could see it as a great outdoor rug too or even a beach blanket! I currently have it covering the cushions of my small couch and it actually looks really nice that way as well! This is a nice yoga mat to put on top of your actual yoga mat. It's not meant to be used alone - it would slide all over the place, but is a nice soft cotton rug type mat that can be used on top of your yoga mat. It could also be used as a nice entryway rug with a stick mat put underneath to prevent slipping. The orange color is a nice muted color that looks good on hardwood flooring. Read more
