Great for the price
I saw a video about this monitor being available for $70 on black Friday pricing. By the time I got around to buying it, it was $85. I bought two of them, and I'm very happy, but there's some caveats I think you should know. This monitor does exactly what it says on the tin... and no more. It has one HDMI and one VGA input (why?) and that's it. It takes in audio via HDMI and has a headphone out jack, and even has volume control on the control nub, but no speakers. It takes 19v power from a barrel jack, but you can swap that for a 20v supply from a USB-C brick with the right adapter (you want the 6.0x4.4mm barrel). The HDR is rubbish, the VRR works fine. The picture quality is plenty good but not remarkable. The settings are pretty minimal and sane out of the box, you'll tweak one or two of them and then never touch them again. The stand is a joke. Of the two of these I bought, one of them was missing the 2 required screws to mount the display to the stand. Fortunately, it has a 100x100mm vesa mount on the back, though it doesn't come with screws for that either. I put mine on monitor arms, and threw out the stands. Basically, if you need a 24" 1080p 120Hz display, and nothing else, of good quality, for as cheap as possible, this is it. For everything else, you'll have to pay more. Read more
