This is as advertised , beautiful picture , dolby vision, sound is great. Nice and sleek easy to connect , and it's ready to go.. My TV is right by the window. So even with my blinds down in the morning, you can see a glare. Which is pretty common on all OLED, not a game changer for me. The size is perfect for my living room.. As far as gaming goes , I have to wait until my grandson comes over. Read more

TV is great. The picture is amazing, and the sound is great. We did have a problem with FedEx shipping, but the seller was great to work with and offered a discount due to Fed Ex delays even though it was not their fault. I love that the remote uses Alexa voice and I can just speak what show I want to watch. The WIFI connectivity was quick and easy. Many thanks to Laurie and Rita Mae!! Read more

Incredible television. Such an upgrade from a 15+ year old Sony, which was a great TV. Set Up was a snap. No issues at all. Picture quality is amazing. We are not gamers so we cannot comment on that. Roku was easily recognized. Now just one remote to control it all. SONOS sound bar set up was also a breeze. There is an HDMI port clearly marked for external speakers. WIfe and I are enjoying movie nights, Sunday Football, and all other shows. If you are on the fence with this one, get it. One of Consumer Reports best televisions of 2025. Read more

Great job of packaging and delivered as promised; minor damage to the box (it was shipped to Wilmington, NC so it traveled quite a distance) that did not penetrate the styrofoam enclosure. Used AI (Gemini and Chat GPT) and YouTube to make the settings, which was very helpful, as no manual was included, not even a quick start sheet. Picture is great. The remote takes a little getting used to, but it works just fine. Add my vote to the gripes about no dedicated mute button, but it can be muted by running the sound down. Also, I have another LG LED TV and its remote, including the mute button, works just fine on this new one. Using it connected to an antenna (very large yagi) in the attic, and get 43 channels, the best that can be done for this area. Very satisfied with the purchase so far. I will come back and add comments if there is trouble in the future. Would recommend. Read more

I really like the television, all in all. It's got a great image and sound. However, the AI garbage you are shoving down our throats is completely unnecessary and adds to the cost. But worst of all is the mouse-like cursor pointer from the remote. Even after I lowered the sensitivity and increased the size, its too hard to use, and it can't be permanently disabled. I am perfectly happy clicking on the outer ring to move through menues. Why can't I disable the pointer? As I get older my hands shake more and using this remote is a pain in the butt. Yes, I can momentarily "turn it off" by clicking the ring, but it takes me to seemingly random positions on the screen, and I have to do it repeatedly through the evening. Please give us a way to turn it off. Read more

When the price dropped to $899 last month, specifically in October of 2025, I immediately took the opportunity to upgrade my viewing experience. I was so excited to finally replace my faithful, but aging, Samsung 55" 4K 8 Series UHD HDR Smart television, which I had been using since 2019. The primary function of both TVs has been, and continues to be, serving as a primary PC monitor, demanding a high level of performance across a diverse spectrum of applications. This includes, but is not limited to, immersive gaming sessions, enjoying cinematic movies, and the day-to-day demands of various software applications. I am absolutely thrilled to report that the LG C5 has consistently exceeded all my expectations. The picture quality is nothing short of astounding; the visual clarity is exceptional, the image detail is remarkably crisp, the color accuracy is spot on, and even the text readability is incredibly comfortable, even during prolonged usage. If you are currently searching for a top-tier smart TV that is ideally suited to be used as a high-performance PC monitor, I can confidently state that you need look no further than the LG 48-Inch Class OLED evo AI 4K C5 Series Smart TV. Prepare to be completely satisfied with your decision! Settings: LG C5 • Game Dashboard • 4:4:4 Pass Through • HDMI Deep Color (4K) • Dolby Vision PC • Quick Frame Transport • AMD FreeSync Premium • 144Hz Mode • ALLM Settings: Windows 11 • HDR • Windows HDR Calibration (Tool) Settings: AMD Adrenalin Software • RGB 4:4:4 Pixel Format PC Standard (Full RGB) • Color Depth: 12bpc Result: OLED Heaven! This is, by far, the best TV I have purchased and seen. I haven't seen such high-definition, clarity, and color quality anywhere else. I feel like I'm at a movie theater with every movie or show I watch. It is ultra-thin so it can mount on the wall like a picture frame, like art. It's classy and the quality exceeds anything on the market that I have searched for.. Read more

I know it is expensive, but you will not regret this. This is my first OLED TV and the experience is truly night and day. I have never seen a thinner TV as well. The remote control feels solid, and although the buttons are in odd places, it is very easy getting used to. Setting up the TV was also very easy. A big reason I purchased this was for the picture quality, but also since my previous TV was quite laggy while using the remote. This TV though, no lag whatsoever. It is so fast. The integrated speakers are also quite impressive. Although I do recommend a sound bar for any viewing experience, the integrated speakers do a great job for the sound quality. Read more
