The filters are easy to get too.. These can be cleaned using warm water. Read all instructions . The edge tool is also the tool needed to remove the main filter. We love this LG vacuum. We have a Dyson V8 that we thought was a good vacuum but you could hardly get finished with a bedroom before the battery died and then had to charge it for 3 hours. This LG has never died on me and even if it does it comes with a spare battery that stays charged on the stand, great idea that Dyson needs to take notes on! Read more

I purchased this vacuumed April of 2021. I absolutely love the light weight and charging station with 2 batteries to switch out. The filters are so easy to clean out and picks up as much dirt and pet hair as my previous corded upright. BUT… the batteries must be older because both have already died. Nov-2020 We had a Kirby in our home and if you know the machine it was very heavy and even noisier, but it did a great job so we were reluctant to go with what I thought would be a downgrade. But WOW was I wrong the quiet giant does a super job of taking care of that mondane task of vacuuming. Lightweight, long lasting battery life and super efficient this vacuum is an addition to the home that we should have done a long time ago, so much so we donated the other machine to the church. When you live on (3) floors the weight of this unit makes easy work out of the job of vacuuming, like I said should have done this a long time ago. Jan-2023 Since the purchase in Oct-2020 our family has expanded by adding a German Shepherd and with this addition I have to warn customers of this LG vacuum inability to handle the dog hair in our quaint little condo. After 15 months of use, the batteries only last about 20 minutes each, 7 minute on high output, the unit filters must be cleaned after each use and I don't think they actually come clean, given the lack of apparent performance. So if you have a pet that sheds stay away from this vacuum it just doesn't have the power needed to deal with a dog that sheds! Read more
