Been using it for 5 years, it's the best investment I've ever made for productivity
First of all, this monitor is not for everyone. There are people who prefer: 1) One monitor or small monitors because the get distracted if the screen is too big 2) Multiple monitors or large monitors because they get distracted if they don't see everything in one place I fall into the second category. Having terrible short term memory and an attention problem, this monitor has literally made a massive difference in my productivity. I use this as my main monitor mostly for coding, reading (Kindle app), editing photos and videos alongside with my other 3 side monitors that I use for browsing, todos, and terminal. I don't really play games so can't talk on that. The colors and the refresh rate are more than enough for anything else including watching movies. Some improvements that I'm expecting from my next monitor are: - Faster refresh rate > 120 Hz (current refresh rate is 60Hz) - Higher resolution 5k or 6k to make the text crystal clear (current resolution is 4k, I can still notice the edges of fonts which can be annoying when you get used to a Macbook Pro screen) - P3 color (The colors are not really suited for photo editing, but they are good enough) - No shadowing on the edges of the monitor (There is currently a tad bit of shadowing on the edges of the monitor, it's not a huge deal, but it would be nice if it didn't exist) - Better sounding speakers (The speakers are already good enough for day-to-day listening, better than the Macbook Pro speakers, but could be way better) - Draggable Picture-in-Picture position (The current PIP is static and it blocks the corner of the monitor, I sometimes connect the Apple TV and it would be nice if I can move it to a different position with the remove) - Lighter weight (The monitor is really heavy and requires a special arm https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0819BLM2Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - Perhaps a little curve would be nice (It can sometimes be tiring to look at the edges and a slight curve can really improve the experience. Since this has the double height of 49" curved monitors, it would be the best monitor ever, especially for coding) If I find a 43" monitor that checks most of these boxes I'll upgrade in a heartbeat, but until then, this is my favorite monitor of all time.
