I bought these in khaki, size small, for my 13 year old son, about 5'4" and very slim. The length is good for him, as shown in the pictures, and the drawstring allows him to tighten the waist enough to keep the pants up comfortably even though his waist is only about 24". The waist is very stretchy, though, and would probably fit up to about a 32" waist, maybe? The fabric is lightweight and has a slightly crinkled texture, but it falls nicely and doesn't wrinkle like real linen. It washes well, and I hang it to dry just because I don't want to take a chance of it shrinking and ending up too short. They are as comfortable as pajamas or athletic pants, but look nice enough to wear with a collared shirt or light sweater out to a nice dinner or other such event. I would definitely buy again, and am considering getting it for him in more colors. Read more
By definition, linen is a fiber made from flax plants, so I was a little surprised to read the label, which shows the Libin pants are made of 46% rayon, 51% polyester and 3% elastane (spandex). Nonetheless, as soon as I put them on, I immediately noticed the look and feel of linen, which I love. The pants are lightweight, cool, comfortable, breathable, and are as described. The inseam was ideal, and it has a thick elastic waistband with drawstring. The sizing is as listed, but even an XL is for a 36-inch waist, so these pants, even at its largest size will not work for anyone with a 40+ inch waistline. The drawstring adds that casual look, whether it be at the beach, or for nighttime lounge wear. The fabric is a bit on the sheer side, which is most noticeable when holding them up to the light. The pants have no fly, but it does have two side pockets, with none in the rear. I'm using them as pajama pants but would be just as comfortable wearing them to the grocery store or visiting friends. Care instructions are to machine wash cold, gentle cycle, wash separately, do not bleach, tumble dry low, remove promptly, iron low, do not use fabric softener, do not dry clean. Recommended. BOY these are balloon pants! They look like I walked out of a scene from an MC Hammer video. They are breathable and good for spring and summer. The material is nice for the price, but nothing amazing on its own. Easy to get the right fit with drawstrings. Read more
These are true to size and appear just like the listing photos. The fit is a nice casual fit and the lightweight material is soft and cool when wearing. Read more
I enjoy wearing these linen types of pants as they fit really well and there is almost always no issues with them. This one did not disappoint. This was comfortable to wear both indoors and outdoors and especially felt great at night when the breathability of the pants allowed for me to feel cool without feeling cold. The lightweight feel is also great. I'd give this one a shot whenever you get the chance because of how good it is. Read more
These were very comfortable but they began to shrink after a couple washes and after wearing them 7 or 8 times they ripped at 2 different seams. Read more
I got these pants to put on over shorts when I take the dogs out and it's a little cooler. I live in FL and cooler is not really cold so it's nice that these pants are lightweight. They are easy to get on and off over shorts or a swimsuit. They are a true fit to size. The only drawback I see is that the drawstring just goes into a hole cut in the waistband rather than a grommet that will restrict the drawstring from disappearing into the hole. I tie knots near the ends of the string to help prevent it from going into the waistband but that does make it little more difficult to tie when putting them on. I recommend these pants. Read more
Actually got these to use as scrub bottoms, and they are working great! I wish the pockets were bigger but that's hardly fair because I wish pockets were bigger on everything! These are smart enough looking to pass off at work and are lightweight enough to not die in the summer. I love that you can take them out of the dryer and hang them up and they look like they have been ironed. Definitely worth it! Read more
