Received immersion blender in a timely manner. Tried it the next day after receipt and did a good job of blending vegetables to sauce. Various speeds was the main factor in getting the smoothness of the sauce. The overall function of the blender and the ease of use was great. Unfortunately, the blender did not have a guard shield at the bottom of the blender part to prevent scratches on my cookware so I was very cautious when blending in pan and cup.
