Expensive but Well Worth it! I’ve been using LifeProof cases for almost 10 years, & my son has been using them for about 13 years. It is inconvenient to request replacement cases when things like the charger port door just fall off within the 1 year warranty period, and they charge ~$6–$10 for shipping and handling the replacement case (which could be any color they choose, not necessarily the color we purchase), and it takes at least a week to arrive, but it’s good to know the case is replaced if it breaks in the first year. I bought this case bc the 2–3yo case I had on my phone broke; specifically the part of the case that was clear plastic over the camera lenses on my phone. I admit that sometimes my phone drops from my pocket, my purse, or my hands, so this case is great (at least for the first couple of years!) for protecting my phone. Also, I can’t help but have my phone potentially exposed to moisture or even water, and tbis case works great for that too (as long as the charger port little flap doesn’t fall off!). I can take photos of my kids at the beach while I stand in the surf, and not need to worry about getting splashed in the process (as long as the case isn’t cracked and as long as the charger port door doesn’t fall off—it’s normally attached to the phone by a piece of plastic). All in All, I continue to buy this case. It is not bulky like the first cases to protect phones were. It’s very thin and streamlined, and to me it looks like any other phone case. I Lovr this case!! Thank you to the people who invented this case and thank you to the people who manufacture and sell this case!!! Try it and see for yourself!! (Make sure you follow directions and do a water tight test with your case before putting the case on your phone! The water test and putting the case on your phone are both easy to do and neither takes much time at all! Thank You LifeProof!!! Read more

I’ve always been a pretty die-hard Lifeproof fan. I drop my phone constantly and am very clumsy, and the added bonus of the case being waterproof is an easy sell for me. I’ve probably dropped the last 3 phones I’ve had cumulatively over a hundred times in the past decade and Lifeproof has always saved them. This time, I was especially clumsy. I dropped my phone into a bonfire and didn’t notice. Five minutes later my roommate is calling my phone to help me locate it and yells “I think it’s in the fire!” I get out there and can’t hear it ringing anymore but dig around through the wood and cardboard and lo and behold, it was absolutely in there. In the fire. The case, as you can see, is completely destroyed. However? the phone had turned itself off due to high temperatures but once it cooled off it powered back on and is completely unscathed. Lifeproof is absolutely worth the money and I’ll be forever grateful that the $45 case saved my $800 phone from a literal fire, even though I have to buy a new case. Read more

I love the life-proof for protection from my butterfingers with my phone sometimes. I was thrilled that could still find this over a year ago and as usual, it is still doing its job of protecting my phone!!! Read more

Nice shirt, but it was Kelly green, rather than the dark green that was pictured. But it’s a nice shirt. Rory Gallagher was a great guitarist.—May 4, 2025

This case works very well at protecting your phone from water and damage. It will eventually fail however wether the clear plastic dries and cracks or it develops a leak. Otterbox can be difficult w honoring warranty w request system being unavailable or product not available when needed. Read more

This thing is fantastic. I can hear them, and they can hear me. The side buttons can be hard to press. I can deal with that because case has saved my iPhone. I take super long baths, and can’t help but picking up my phone. I’ve already killed an iPhone by dropping it in the tub- they’re water resistant not waterproof. I fell asleep in the tub one night and when I got out and drained the tub my phone was at the bottom. No clue how long it was down there for, over 45 min probably closer to 60-90 min. Just remember to close the charging port flap when you’re done charging. Definitely not waterproof with that bad boy open. Read more
