I had looked all over for a not too expensive boot in a gray and a brown color that I liked. Especially the brown. I saw creamy brown, light brown, red brown but very few dark brown ones. Anyway I ordered the gray and the brown in this style and kept them both. They are comfortable to wear all day at school (teacher) and I have wider feet and often have issues with comfort. My only wish was that they were one or two inches longer up the calf. The heel height is great just wish there were another inch or two of boot that came up closer to my knee. Just my personal preference. But I loved both colors and they are comfortable so I am pretty happy with my purchase. Both have almost an antique look with a buffed black color marbled into the gray and the brown which I think mimics real leather which these are not. But the subtle shading gives it a richer look that is not all monotone. Would recommend. Read more

These boots deserve 5 stars. I went through so many calf height boots online and perhaps read a million reviews and was kinda stuck. But with these, I felt I was making the right choice and voila! I have a calf that’s 16.5” wide and foot size is 11W and these boots couldn’t fit better. Although they say wide calf, they’re perfect if your calf is a little above the average size but not in the ‘wide calf’ category. They give my calves just enough room when I sit or take thee stairs. The heel is just perfect for me because I can’t work even the slightest heel. All in all, very very happy with this purchase! Read more

I was so excited to get these - especially since they have wide calves. They fit perfectly and looked great!! However, within 2 days of wearing them, the leather was scratched and torn. Very cheap I realize. So bummed they look horrible now. Read more

I am just on the verge of needing wide width. It really depends on the boot. I can wear regular but some are tight. I ordered these in wide and was very surprised they were a bit tight and required some effort to zip up. My other wide boots are actually loose so I believe its just the wide for this boot isn’t actually wide. I’m keeping them because I do like them….I’ll just not be able to wear them with a pant underneath. Read more
