So after being disappointed with the previous purchase of a set of table lamps with a plant vine shaped post, I found this more traditional set which better suited my taste. It looks perfect and is exactly what I had hoped it would be. I already had two table lamps that I had bought a long time ago, and this set matches them nicely. Now I have four lamps, one in each corner of the living room. The yellow glass lamp provides a nice ambience to the room. The lamps shipped out quickly and were packaged safely. Keep in mind that the on/off switch is located on the power cord, about 5 inches away from the base, so it has to be carefully placed on the table or left hanging behind the table. I had to send back the first lamp I ordered because the ring that holds the shade on was screwed on too tight to remove it and replace it after the shade was installed. The replacement lamp was correct and I was able to install the shade. It's a great piece. Because the shade is torchier style, it has a small footprint on a table and gives great light. I put a 60 watt LED bulb that pulls fewer watts. I want to order another one but right now they're out of stock. Read more

the lamp is very pretty, i bought it to replace my lamp that looks exactly like it. however i thought it was a touch lamp, like mine was, and it isnt. so i returned it and purchased a similiar lamp that was. but very nice lamp if you were looking for switch on type. beautiful shade and solid base. Bought 2 of these to match similar ones I got years ago; they were the only ones close enough in style but I had to cross my fingers and hope they didn't look cheap or ugly. They look great- much nicer than the picture! And the lamps are a perfect height that they aren't blocked by things on display in front of them (ex: pictures, greenery, etc) but won't overpower a small table. I really loved the look it’s just as it’s pictured. But immediately after assembling and turning on it flickers on its own and also when you move the cord around. Will more than likely be returning. For the price I’d expect it not to come with electrical defects. Read more
