Awesomely Bright. I installed these in a large Pole barn 20' to the bottom of trusses. My intention was to have it bright enough underneath them to work at a workbench without the need for additional light. I have 3 of them spaced 12' apart in this work area and there is plenty of light. I would say pretty close to outside in the bright sunlight. The light fixture was packaged well and is well made-sturdy. After installing my own heavy duty hook it was easily hung and plugged into an outlet. We wanted certain lights to have longer on time when detecting motion. Also with the remote the ability to turn lights to stay on until after a meeting. Plenty bright for a home garage but beware that the unit weighs 2 lbs. If your socket is built to the national electrical code properly, then it can support up to 2 lbs. If it's just your average Joe homeowner installed incorrectly and not to code, then it's a fall hazard due to the weight. 5* Disclaimer: I pay tax to only review products that I can use at work or at home.
