You can still plug another plug into the wall outlet with these plugged in. Light sensor works good, have had them for a month and they all still work well every night. HINT: The motion sensor is on the top or bottom side of the night light, depending on how you have them plugged in. If you have the night light in the top plug, make sure the light sensor is facing up. If the night light is in the bottom plug, make sure the light sensor is facing down. If you have the light sensor facing another plug plugged in, the light bounces off of the other plug and dims the night light bulb a little.
