These are great. We've had them for over a year and they have worked flawlessly. Very sensitive to light and even turn on as you walk by them. Bought because of classic pattern that can blend with many different decorating styles and the compact design. Plugged in it leaves the other outlet accessible. There is NO motion detection; activated by lack of light. Even with the range hood light on on the opposite wall; it still turned on. Light is brighter than dimmer. Major misreprentation is the grill pattern is described as “brushed brass” in longer text description and in quick summary under material as “brushed”. Both plastic casing and grill sounded the same when tapped and felt similar in temperature after a few minutes in refrigerator. An attractive product overall (with good brightness, compact and classic design), just don’t lie about its motion detection or material composition. I give it 3 stars. Updated: I decided to keep this item because of its simple, classic design - what I initially found attractive. After using for a few days, I can add that the brightness self adjusts according to the amount of darkness it senses. In a really dark hallway, the light is a bright beacon. In a dim area, it will still turn on. The light will just be not as bright. I added a star. Read more
Love it! Looks great, not bulky so still able to plug in a second item, and lights up enough. The sensor even picks up my reflection on shower glass door. Bought in July 2022, it’s May 2025! This thing has lasted more than all the products I’ve ever purchased through Amazon. Read more
