My husband has actinic keratoses which can turn into squamous cell cancer. He also had a basal cancer removed from his leg in 2024. I happened to find out through reviews on other products that nicotinamide has been suggested by dermatologists to reduce the risk of basal and squamous lesions. So, initially, I was very interested in this ingredient to reduce my husband's risk of developing cancer. Then, I came across some info stating resveratrol and quercetin were great in addition to nicotinamide for anti-aging benefits. I am 46 and going through menopause so I am worried about losing collagen etc. So, this product packs all 3 of these ingredients instead of trying to buying three different single ingredients and taking multiple pills to get the same effect. Now, will this work as hoped? I don't know but similar products with the same exact ingredients/dosages suggest that it works at least for some people. I am willing to give it a try. I get brain fog and definitely could use some extra energy. Beauty benefits would be an added plus. Note: --This is the first supplement of this blend that states it needs refrigeration after opening. Other brands do not state this on the package so I am not sure if it is really necessary or not. --I don't swallow pills so adding here how well these work when opening the capsules. Easy to add to foods or open capsule and sprinkle powder in mouth and wash down with water. It doesn't clump up into a hard ball or stick to my mouth. No taste, either. So, those who open pills, this one is an easy option to consume in an alternate way. Read more
You may see this similar review on a few different products that I've tried, because, frankly, they appear to be the same thing once I got them in hand. They are all the green and white packaging, saying 'Hatmanlabs', and say 80 capsules, 900 MG (2 per serving, 40 servings.) Anyway, I've done my own research on nicotinamide + reserveratrol, and I've been taking it for a month now, maybe. I don't think this is the sort of thing that you can tell quickly whether it's' working' or not. But I haven't noticed any negative effects. The pills, themselves, are easy to take. The question is whether they are legit or not. I don't see any indication of 3rd-party testing. That's up to you. But otherwise, these are a fairly affordable source. Read more
