I tried the FOLIUS LABS Milk Thistle trial pack, mainly just hoping for some mild liver support and a general energy boost. The good news is the capsules are standard, easy to take, and thankfully have none of that nasty herbal taste or smell. During the few days I used it, I felt a slight reduction in afternoon sluggishness, though it was subtle enough that it's hard to tell if it was just coincidence or the supplement working. I also had a few days of minor stomach upset right at the start. It didn't blow me away, and honestly, the jury is still out on whether I'll commit to buying a full-sized bottle. Read more

Out of the box, the little jar looks neat and purposeful: matte label, crisp printing, and an intact tamper seal that lifts cleanly instead of shredding. The cap threads smoothly and there’s a proper desiccant inside, so the contents stay dry after a few open-and-close cycles. The capsules are uniform and lightly polished rather than dusty, with a mild, green-herbal scent when you open the lid—more “tea” than chemical. It’s a compact, travel-friendly package that tucks easily into a dopp kit or desk drawer without rattling around. Folded into a normal routine over several days, this lands in the “quiet support” category more than anything dramatic. It’s easy on the stomach, plays nicely with coffee or a light breakfast, and never brings that chalky, lingering aftertaste some herbal supplements do. I noticed the overall experience to be low-drama and predictable—no jitters, no queasiness, just a simple add-on. One quirk: the capsule shell is a touch dry and can catch if you hesitate, and there’s a very faint herbal-bitter note if it lingers on the tongue; a full glass of water takes care of both. Because this is a small trial-size bottle, it’s better for sampling fit and tolerance than for drawing big conclusions, but it does make evaluation straightforward. All told, this suits anyone curious about a clean-label milk thistle option with standardized extract and third-party quality cues, especially if you prefer veggie capsules and minimal excipients. If you want flavored gummies, tiny chewables, or a long-horizon supply out of the gate, this isn’t that. For the tidy presentation, gentle feel, and standardized 80% silymarin callout, the price-to-value feels fair—an easy test run before committing to a larger bottle. Read more

I had high hopes for this milk thistle supplement, but unfortunately, I didn’t notice any benefits at all. The capsules have a strong, unpleasant smell, and after finishing the trial pack, I felt no improvement in energy, digestion, no pain relief, or overall health. For me, it was a waste of money, and I wouldn’t purchase it again. On the plus side, they are easy to swallow. Read more

- The package has both a manufacturing date and expiration date printed on the back of it. - The dosage of 600mg per serving (which is two pills) is actually significantly higher than most other products that I see on the market. Along the same line, the minimum of 80% silymarim standardization is also significantly higher than many competitors. - I appreciate that there are no other unnecessary ingredients or fillers/gums used and the capsules themselves are small and easy to take. - While I appreciate the availability of a trial pack, I certainly haven’t noticed any difference after taking all 7 servings. I honestly wouldn’t expect to though, as this is the type of supplement that would need to be taken for an extended amount of time. - Price wise, the normal package is $20 for 60 servings. There are similar products from very reputable brands for significantly less available on Amazon. - I am going to give this product 4/5 stars. The supplement itself is great; the dosage and standardization are both excellent. While the quality is high, I think there are similarly high quality products for less available on Amazon. Read more

I received the trial size package of milk thistle. It says a serving size is two capsules and seven servings per packet but it’s a little confusing because suggested uses to take one capsule per day. There are 14 capsules in this so I’m not sure if this is supposed to be a 14 day supply or a seven day supply because The label contradicts itself with the dosage information. I’m taking one per day because that’s what the suggested use is and maybe they made a mistake on the serving size. This has a valid expiration date through July 2027 and was manufactured according to the label on July 2024. As far as quality there is no strange odor or smell from any of this and they are easy to swallow. I would just need more clarification from the label regarding the directions on what I’m supposed to take because there’s two different sets of directions. I deducted some points because of this because I would like to see more clear instructions on a product. This is a sample size dosage but if the sample size is not labeled correct what would the regular size look like? The brand is a good quality reputable brand so maybe there was just a mistake on the labeling I don’t know. For what I am paying for a 14 day or possibly seven days supply I do feel it is a little expensive especially considering the labeling issues. I had no problem with taste or any acid reflex or stomach issues with this supplement.. It is too soon to tell the Milk Thistle has been effective or not. Aside from labeling over all it appears to be a good quality product. Read more
