Never again.

We got this after spending three days in 4 degree cold with no electricity last February. We watched alot of videos before we bought this unit and thought we get more bang for our buck with it. It's not a "familiar" brand like the Jackery or Bluetti but it gets the job done. We paid less than 800.00 for a 1000 watt unit so that's a pretty good buy. We bought a couple of 75 watt solar panels from harbor freight and they charge this just fine. (It will take 2-100 watt panels which we will upgrade to at some point). The higher the wattage on the panels the faster it recharges so that's a help. It takes numerous types of plugs and has several USB ports and comes with all kinds of cords adapters and plugs. We bought this to power a small heater (or a fan or mini fridge) should the need arise again. We did better than most around us as we have a gas stove and a fireplace. We had some heat from that but it wasn't near enough. It will never happen to us again. Read more

Good Unit - Had mine unit for 3 years now

WeesterJanuary 4, 2026

I also have a Li Power Pro for another TV downstairs - So in our old house we used to lose power a lot - This particular unit was purchased specifically for back up power for the Tv - We also used digital antennas etc. so we would have contact with the outside world, without the need for power. In addition I had installed solar to recharge which was plugged into 24/7 - So instead of switching power over - this TV has been running off this power supply for 3 years - in addition we use the usb and 12 volt on occasion to charge whatever needed - I do occasionally run it all the way to 0% to to keep it calibrated- that seems to be a thing with all types of power supplies- In addition I have 3 other units 1 from Jackery and 2 from Bluetti for other areas . These work well but the Li Power is my favorite because - Ac turns off automatically when there is no load - and unit turns back on when solar is back.- We actually saved some $ on electricity by now - Not nearly enough to cover the cost of the power supply and the solar- Hope this helps- Read more

Excellent back-up power supply for peace of mind

Chris PFebruary 6, 2022

We purchased this power station as a back up power supply for my mother-in-law's oxygen concentrator, in case power went out during this year's winter storms. The unit arrived in perfect condition and was very easy to set-up and charge. The directions were easy to understand, and the variety of outlets on the power station make it quite versatile. It is light enough to move easily with the molded handles, and small enough to be inconspicuous when placed on the floor behind a chair. The capacity (1100 Wh) is adequate for our needs and provides peace of mind if there was an extended power outage. We are very pleased with our purchase. Read more

Appears to be OK, with some slight disappointing "features".

Richard L. GrierMay 9, 2022

Compact unit with true sinewave AC output. The first thing I wanted to verify was the true sinewave output and I can state that the LiPower 1000W delivers here. Fine. The attached photos show the output waveform (so that you don't have to perform this slightly dangerous measurement yourself). In order, no load, 250 Watts, 500 Watts, 750 Watts, and full load at 1000 Watts. There was very little difference between wave shapes as the load was increased. The load is resistive only. I am satisfied with this performance, and I hope that it will be reliable over the long run... Only time will tell So, what areas disappoint me? They all have to do with "instrumentation." That is, if I want "facts and figures" about how the unit is operating, I have to set up my own measurement system. For example, the LiPower 1000 may be recharged using the supplied AC power adapter, using a supplied automobile 12V accessory plug, or from solar. The solar charging adapter connectors are polarity inverted from the cables that connect to my solar panel (female where I needed male and vis versa, thus it could not be used. I made my own adapter. Charging from all possible sources works as expected. However, how efficient is the built-in solar charger? Good efficiency would require that the charging circuitry use MPPT (maximum power point tracking), but I suspect that the actual circuitry employs a PWM (pulse width modulation) method. Why don't I know? Because the built-in LCD display provides no useful information. It provides a very coarse bar graph display to show battery charge, but it does not show the input charging voltage and current, so it is impossible to know how efficiently it is charged from solar power. I will be measuring this in the future (I have a setup for this, but I have to purpose-build an adapter cable to connect the measurement system to the solar panel and to the LiPower unit). The other limitation associated with the LCD display is that it provides no information about load conditions. It would be very nice if the actual AC power being delivered was shown and also an estimate of remaining battery life. The AC outlet from the charger is not connected (bonded) to AC Neutral. This is not a problem, unless one attempts to supply power to an electronic device that monitors ground current (GFCI). I built a "bonding adapter" to connect neutral to ground so that I could charge my EV. Guess what? I was able to add 3 miles to my Tesla from one fully charged LiPower 1000 charger! Just what I wanted for an emergency. Other than my quibbles, the unit appears to be sound. Read more

Can not connect

I have a Jackery 300. The solar panel does not have a cord that will connect with it. The LIPOWER says it will charge to a Jackery but I don't see how. Read more

Sturdy and steady power for emergencies

GabrielMarch 15, 2022

The first thing I noticed is how durable and well built this is. No loose parts and has a good weight but not too heavy. 25 lbs and it has 2 handles. Instructions are very easy to use. I bought this so I can use the coffee maker and grill during a blackout and after a test, it worked for several hours. No issues and the battery held up very well. I bought the Apolle 100 Lipower solar panel to go with it and the plug is just as easy as any plug. It charges quickly which is a plus. I love it! In the picture, the battery is in the sun, read the instructions and place it in the shade but not covered by a towel or blanket, give it air. Treat it well and it will take care of you. Read more
