This little unit punches above it's weight. I got this unit after Hurricane Melissa and have been using it ever since as electricity is not restored at home as yet. Charge it up at work in less than an hour and it keeps the fridge going for up to 8 hours. The 100W portable solar panels will work for phones and laptops while charging. BUYER BEWARE I ordered this solar generator for my Greenhouse, so I could run a small space heater during winter months. I set up the generator and solar panel in the same way my other solar powered devices are set up and generate a regular charge. I was very excited as the space heater was operating on a thermostat and was pulling power from the generator...for the first day and a half. The generator never recharged, not when in use, not after the heater was turned off, never recharged. Now I am a reasonable person so I contacted the technical support for the company, explaining the issue I was experiencing. First off, the process of getting someone to address the issue was a multiple day, multiple email where I needed to provide multiple photo's and videos of the generator "not charging," how do you create a video of something NOT doing what it is supposed to do? The Second and most concerning problem was that I received multiple responses from support that indicated I could correct the problem by "charging the battery." Please note, the subject line of my email included "will not charge." while I am reasonable, I am not a moron, I understand that to charge a battery on any device you have to use the battery in a way that will actually charge (plug it in, insert solar panel cords, etc.). Obviously, I have lost all confidence in this company and expect my $600 investment will result in repeated problems so I requested a refund, but had to request it multiple time before shipping labels (two boxes) were provided.
