Prior to this purchase my phone would overheat every time I would charge it during a car ride. I got tired of this and wanted to find a solution. This product works very well is a good quality and easy to install. I would suggest follow the instructions and do not plug it into a USB port but they use the cigarette charger. I can’t prove it but somehow it works more efficiently with the cigarette plug that’s included. I have two of these and the one that I DIDNT follow the instructions the fan blows hot air on my phone a does not cool down. But I don’t have an extra cigarette port to use so I just deal with it. REVIEW FIRST; SOLUTION BELOW REVIEW REVIEW: On its own the product has insane value for its price especially when on sale. In my experience so far, the charging and cooling capabilities surpassed my semi-jaded expectations. It charges well, and fast. It also cools well, not insanely, but you pay for what you get and it works well enough that I'm comfortable using it to charge my S25 Ultra with no issues or anxiety that it might overheat. I also like the additional leds on the backside, it adds a bit of extra ambiance though its a constant cycle between colors and not programmable. The cable, adapter, and mount/magnets are all great quality for this price, but do beware the vent clip will absolutely snap a vent piece if you over-tighten it or use it on older/more delicate vents, like this goofball had to learn the hard way. Also the ball-joint that holds the mount pieces together is hard to pop into place initially, so handle with care. Also, I like the adjustable mounting system and found it very useful in comparison to suction/fixed mounts, and the adhesive seem extremely sturdy and have so far managed to stand through the test of time in Southern California temperatures. SOLUTION TO INCONSISTENT CHARGING: There is a common issue with products like and including this that isnt mentioned pretty much anywhere without some really heavy duty digging. When mounting a phone onto the charger, charging will start, but then stop after 15-20 seconds. Then after 5-10 seconds it'll start back up and repeat the process indefinitely. This is obviously not good for the phone or the charger at all. This is not a fault of the product, as I first thought. Instead it has to do with the discrepancies of magsafe charging and case thickness/magnet strength. CAUSES: There are 3 likely causes for this issue, which thankfully require simple fixes. Here they are- Cause 1: The magnets in your phone or on your case may not be strong enough and/or your phone case may be too thick Cause 2: The magnets on the actual mount may not be strong enough or close enough to the phone due the plastic shell covering the magnets on the mount itself Or most likely Cause 3 SOLUTION TESTED AND FOUND: Your magsafe compatible case either has magnetic shielding of some sort, like for using a stylus or an S-pen on a Samsung phone, or a collapsible accessory, wallet or card/cash may be triggering the "foreign object detection" This is a good feature to prevent overheating and all that jazz, but finicky in certain scenarios like mine. (S25 Ultra with a magsafe compatible case with magnetic shielding AND a rubber silicone grip) ACTUAL FINAL SOLUTION For Causes 1 &2, in order to add more magnetic strength to the mount and get ride of the gap between the mount magnets and your phone/cases magnets and stop the inconsistent charging all together, try taking a set of magsafe compatible magnets already arranged in a circle (can be found here on Amazon pretty cheap or removed from an old magsafe case) and magnetically mount it onto the charger's magnetic mount that way the phone or case mounts directly onto magnets and not a plastic shell. This may or may not solve that issue (I've had frankly varied results) For Cause 3, there IS a working fix. Instead of using the usb-c to usb-c cable that ships with it, instead use a compatible usb-a to usb-c in tandem with the mount and the car port, and it will charge consistently. Kind of annoying that I had to pull from what I had instead of it working with what it came with, but my situation is very niche at the time of posting. Edit: Formerly 3 stars, now 5! Customer service reached out and provided a free replacement that is compatible with my car! Never had customer service so good before, 5/5! Original: This seems to be a fine charger, it keeps my phone cool and charges fast enough that my phone won’t die while using wireless CarPlay. The downside is the mounting options. I purchased this intending to stick it to my dash, however the texture of my dash (hard plastic with the texture of fake leather) didn’t allow the mount to stick. It would fall right off. Then I attempted to use the vent mount, I tightened it as tight as I could to the vent and it was still loose and wobbling around. Vent clips are too big and do not fit. I ended up having to reuse the sticky pad to stick it up by my steering wheel to a smooth plastic part of my dash. Now my steering wheel blocks the view of my phone and I cannot engage my windshield wipers while my phone is attached because of where I was forced to put the mount. Wish the sticky pads worked on the normal part of my dash or they included a suction cup windshield option. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Works as advertised if not better! I’ve had a mag chargers before and experienced regular overheating (regardless of the brand). This device charges quickly AND keeps my phone cool which makes it so it remains operational and preserves battery life. Product came with two mount options. A sturdy looking vent clip and innovative adhesive mount. For my purposes, I used the adhesive mount and it works really well. Stable, charges pretty well, I love the vent-hook-clip. Had to get a different (high amp) car plug because the one that came with it didn't really fit the right way in the socket. Definitely has a cooling effect, but feels kindof minimal since it's generally balancing out the thermals from charging. Took it on a flight for use in a rental car on a road trip, loved that it's basically a solid chunk so not much to break or worry about and it's pretty compact and lightweight. Didn't work at all when trying to charge iPhone pro max 13. In florida with gps & call on the same time this thing cools itself only. Keep in mind that takes time to cool it off , if you are any delivery driver taking the phone every couple minutes thats not for you. Gadget won't be able to cool phone. Read more
