I needed a new rug for the entryway and wanted something a bit unique, so when I saw this Washable Area Rug in Forest Green by Livebox, I knew I had found the one. It arrives folded and had creases when first put down on the floor. Several days later, the creases were still there so I picked it up and tossed it in the dryer for 10 minutes, creases gone. I just love the painting effect that this rug has, it almost looks like a tapestry for the floor. The colors are organic and pretty, and it makes quite a statement, becoming a conversation piece when guests come over. It has nonslip backing on it, which works pretty well on our hardwood floors, though a frantic dog can leave it askew. I like that when the time comes it will be able to go in the washing machine and then we will hang it outside to dry. Really the only thing I don't like about this rug is that our high end vacuum is just too powerful for it. When I try to use our Dyson on it, the rug gets sucked up into the vacuum. Thankfully it is only a 3x5, so easy to walk outside with it and give it a good shake. Currently this rug is selling at $39.99, and I have to say that the the price seems a little expensive to me. After all, it is synthetic and the pattern is printed on, not woven into it. At 20% off I would consider the price to be reasonable, taking into consideration that these thin washable rugs are really not very durable. Read more

Have this next to my bed for about six weeks now. I cannot believe how well it is holding up. My dog decided it was his place. I thought it was too lightweight to hold up, but here the kicker-it IS holding up and all I do it take it outside and give it a good shake! All that and such a gorgeous scene. If it falls apart in the next six weeks, I'll let you know. But I don't see that happening. Read more
