My go-to pan for stove top cooking.
I purchased this frying pan as part of a 3 piece set - 12-inch Frying Pan, Wok Pan & Glass Lid. Let me start by saying that this particular bundle/set would make a fantastic wedding shower or house-warming gift. You get so much more for your money compared to an All Clad set. The Livwell DiamondClad pans are wider and deeper than the All Clad non-stick set. Plus, you get a lid! I love the frying pan. I can tell already that it is going to be my go-to pan for stove top cooking. It heats up quickly, and is heavy enough to hold the heat as you add ingredients. I did not have any issues with food sticking, because I use a little bit of oil (or butter) while cooking. Meat tacos, mushrooms, veggies – all browned up nicely without sticking. Eggs worked well too, when heat is low and slow. Clean up was a snap too. Soapy warm water and a sponge is all you need. Read more

Handsome seer pan
I was looking for a pan to seer and this is perfect. However, if you want an omelette pan this may not work as well as some other non-stick pans. I found cleanup easy as well and have used it in the oven to finish steaks. Overall very satisfied with this handsome cooking tool ! Read more
mistake to buy this pan
The 8" DiamondClad frying pan was very disappointing. I seasoned the pan with oil like the instructions suggested, but within just a few uses, the eggs stuck to the sides, bottom, and top rim. I had to soak the pan to remove the eggs. Way too much effort to use this pan for the high price. Read more

Cooks very good
Dislike the fact that you have to season the pan. I did run it thru the dishwasher and didn't re-season it so eggs stuck. From now on I will just hand wash it. It is suppose to be like a cast iron skillet only without all the weight of cast iron. I liked cast iron but just got to heavy. But understanding this I understand seasoning the pan. I have been learning to cook low and slow with it insteat of hot and fast. Got tired of other pans the coating coming off then food sticking any way. So thought I would give this a try So far so good. I haven't used and metal utensils on it as most of mine are for the coated pans. Read more
Best and last Cookwrear you will ever need to purchase.
If you don’t know what a hybrid pan is, buy this one. I started off with the 12 inch wok with lid and bought another 12 inch WOK with lid and the 8 inch fry pan with lid set. My kitchen is complete. I don’t need anything else. Follow the directions to season your pan before you use it. It will put a nice crust on anything and will not stick something you can’t get with just an ordinary pan.
