This foam works great and it expands in a real significant way, so you don't need to use too much. It's all fairly self explanatory and it works down to 20 degrees, which I thought was shocking. I believe caulk only works down to 40, so it's handy it functions in sub freezing environments. A word of warning. It's exceptionally sticky and it can expand...unpredictably. If you're using it any place that may be overhead, use caution until it's done curing. Read more

It was easy to attach the nozzle and spray where I needed to. The foam expanded nicely and filled the gap in. So far no leaks wear water was coming in from a crack in the concrete in my basement. My only complaint is that it continues to come out of the nozzle for a bit after you stop spraying and I made kind of a mess because I didn't realize this until it was too late. Read more

I picked up this 2 pack of Loctite Tite Foam Big Gaps, and it worked pretty much like it said. The poly foam stuff blows up nice and fills in the big cracks and spaces around pipes, windows, and even in the framing. After it dries, it feels really hard and solid, makes a good seal, and keeps air out. Using it was pretty easy β the nozzle gives decent control and the foam grows enough that you don't gotta spray too much. Clean up was ok, but you def need gloves or it sticks on your hands badly. When it's dry you can cut it or even paint it if you want, which helps it look better. Only thing, it grows ALOT, more than I thot, so don't fill it all the way up or it overflows. All in all, it's good foam at a fair price. The 2 pack is handy if u got bigger jobs or just wanna keep an extra can. Iβd definitely recommend it for anyone doing fixes around the house. The colore was yellow and bascially had no smell Read more

i thought this would work well for one of my projects, it in fact did not. but that was my problem. this foam i was actually quite impressed with. the cell density is high and boy does it expand in volume. i tested a little piece directly in the arizona sun to test their UV claims and after a few months its still good and pliable. Let's be clear, this review is about my creative (and failed) attempt at pest control, not this product's intended use. Fueled by a can-do attitude and a questionable TikTok video, I decided to take on a hornet nest myself. The plan: entomb them in their own home with a blast of this foam. Unfortunately, the hornets were not impressed. I either didn't spray enough foam, or they simply mocked my efforts from within. The nest is still very much active. If you're going to ignore my advice and try this, you'll need a solid 10-second blast, not a timid little puff. On a practical note, the instructions weren't perfectly clear on how to get the top lid off the stem, and the little "stopper" plug for the tube was a bit of a mystery. So, while this foam is probably great for sealing actual gaps in your house, it is not an amateur extermination tool. The professionals have been called. Don't be like me. Read more

Works well and gives plenty of coverage. It expands more than you expect, so itβs better to fill a bit less than you think because it keeps growing before it sets. Mine has already cured and Iβll be using an oscillating tool to cut it clean. The only drawback is that you have to keep the can upside down, which can be awkward depending on what youβre trying to fill. Overall, a reliable option for sealing bigger gaps. Read more
