This is a decent camera, a nice little webcam for devices that don’t already have one. Quality is 720pbi believe? It looks like a webcam not a professional camera. Bought this because our laptops camera stopped working. The quality is a bit lower, as it’s only 720p but I love how this one isn’t a wide angle lens and doesn’t show your whole house on video calls or zoom, which is hard to find imo. A little bit of a trick to get it to fit on the top of the laptop but once you adjust it, it’s good to go. It worked for us well. Read more

For the price point (I believe I purchased this through the Amazon Warehouse/refurbished program), it is amazing. I needed a secondary camera for when I do teletherapy to use for pointing at a desk/documents. I don't need perfect picture quality, but this does a great job. Very nice. Read more

I purchased this webcam to monitor my 3D printer through Octoprint. My installation of Octoprint is non-standard, running Ubuntu 24.04, but this camera is great because it's plug-and-play. I'm getting close to @30fps running uStreamer and MJPEG encoding at 1280x720p. I did modify the case of the camera to be used with a focus ring and specialized mount (easily found on places like Printables, Thingiverse, etc.). I purchased this item as an Amazon renewed product, so I understood what to expect when I opened the package. The product came in its original box and while the box was damaged, the product itself was in perfect condition. This is a low cost webcam that satisfies my need - an occasional Zoom session with the kids. It works very well but would not satisfy a YouTuber. Plug it in and it just works. The resolution is good. The microphone picks up everything well. Adjustments are done through the Windows camera app. Good buy for the "casual user." Read more
