This camera accomplishes my main goal for it, which is to send a nice clear video image over Zoom and other teleconferencing apps. People on the other end have commented on how my image looks better than theirs. I hesitate to recommend this camera, though, because by default it sends ugly pictures and dialing it in takes a lot of time and patience. The automatic white balance assumes you are sitting under a yellow light bulb with no daylight anywhere around, so if there is a window in your room, or sunlight, the image will have a strong urine-yellow tint to it. The camera drastically over-exposes, so anywhere your skin is shiny turns into a giant no-detail white glare. You can correct this with Logitech software, but Logitech offers three different camera control software applications and Tech Support will not help you find out which app to use. Logitech Capture tries to be its OWN streaming software. After I got the camera white balance, focus, and exposure dialed in perfectly, I discovered that Capture does NOT share its settings with Zoom and other apps. The software to use is Logitech Camera Settings. You can use its advanced settings to get the camera to good color balance, better (though not perfect) exposure, and to make sure it focuses on your face and not some weird detail in the back of the room behind you. For my purposes, the camera's lens is TOO wide angle and will show your entire room, warts and all. With Camera Settings, you can zoom it in a bit so you have portions of the room where you can hide the clutter. In the end it provides what I wanted. I have had great experience with Logitech devices in the past. But getting this one to live up to its potential really soured me on Logitech, and especially Logitech non-helpful "support." I am a professional videographer experienced with many cameras, and I was disappointed in how difficult the camera was to wrangle into usability. Your mileage may vary. Read more

I'm an avid photographer, and as such, I hate to take the 'default' settings of my video cameras. I'm totally sold on the Logitech line of cameras, since, through their software, I'm able to control and manipulate any aspect of my video that I'd like to manipulate. That said, the Logitech software seems to me, to be kind of touchy...I wish it were more robust... But I'd rather have glitchy control of my camera than no control at all...Hands down. Read more

I have been on zoom calls with the other person is fuzzy and out of focus. Not sure why that is. I never had such a problem with the logitech C922. THis unit is more expensive that the cheap ones but it delivers great quality. My only concern about the unit is related to control. The picture of me is a bit (perhaps a 1/2 stop too bright, if you understand photography you will know what I mean, otherwise noticeably too bright without being washed out). I can not find a control for this unit on my mac, but need to do more looking. Read more
