Mouse arrived on time in good condition. I slid the back off to retrieve the usb receiver and remove the paper tag that keeps the battery from making contact until I was ready to use it. With the mouse on and Windows up I inserted the receiver into a usb port on my old dell laptop running Windows 10 Home. In 1 to 2 seconds Windows made a new hardware beep and I was up and running. The wireless mouse is perfect, just as I expected. It's a 3 button wireless mouse because the scroll wheel is also a button when you push it down instead of scrolling. It is accurate, I don't experience any lag, and all buttons and scroll wheel work perfect. My mouse in Windows is already setup for right handed use so I had nothing to setup. I'm a large guy and it feels good in my hands. It's slightly smaller size is in my opinion for being more mobile when transporting my laptop and it doesn't need as much surface to operate, like the armrest of my recliner. I like that it doesn't have the red light for reading the surface. I would buy again. Read more

We have used these for a couple of years, you won't be disappointed. Next: The reason I bought this mouse is that my wife lost the usb receiver for her k270/M185 keyboard mouse set. The mouse was cheaper than than a replacement receiver and much faster delivery. This M185 mouse appeared to be identical to our M185 mice with the "nano" receiver. It is not. I was hoping to be able to use it with her current k270/M185 set. The ultimate solution was to buy a used K270/M185(and nano receiver) set. I hate having so many keyboards laying around, but that seemed better than throwing away a perfectly good device, Arrgh! For info: The Logitech "nano" receiver is supposed to be programmable to recognize your mouse via the Logitech-Connect utility App. This App works great with all our other "nano" receivers, but not this new one. It does not recognize the receiver being present, even though the new mouse works with it. The newer Logitech App is the Logitech Unifying Software which works only with the Logitech Unifying receivers. They are marked with an orange star. The Unifying Receivers are not compatible with devices that use the "nano" receiver, like my M185. I tried using both of these Apps with the new "Nano" receiver, but neither one could see it. So, I don't know exactly what kind of receiver the new M185 uses. It looks exactly like the old Nano. But clearly it is different and not compatible with our circa 2023 M185 mice. I hope this helps clear things up for somebody, it was frustrating for me. Read more

This is a nice wireless mouse, especially for the money. If you just want a nice wireless mouse without bells and whistles, get this one. However, I bought this mouse to replace the M185 mouse that I got as part of the K270 keyboard & mouse combo a couple years ago. That mouse developed a problem with the left-click switch, which I understand is common to Logitech mice. It lasted a couple years, and that's not too bad considering what these cost. Anyhow, even though both my old mouse and new mouse have model number M185, the new mouse won't pair with the nano receiver from my K270 combo, and I can't pair the combo's keyboard with the new M185's nano receiver. I am using Solaar 1.1.4rc2 on KDE Neon Linux to try to make these pairings. Solaar's "Supported products" web page says that certain M185 mice (this new one included) use non-standard nano receivers. So I can't pair it with other receivers, and I can't pair the keyboard to the new receiver. So, to be fair, my use case is not the usual use case. The mouse itself is really a nice basic wireless mouse for the money. And, by "basic", I mean that it doesn't have lights or extra function buttons. If you aren't looking for a fancy gaming mouse with lights and extra programmable function buttons, this is a good mouse. I'd like it if they lasted longer, but for the money it's hard to beat. But if you want to try to pair this mouse with other Logitech unifying or nano receivers, this isn't the one. That's why I rated it with four stars. Read more

Works just fine with Win 11. When wrestling it out of that annoying clear plastic packaging, note that the dongle thingy is inside the battery compartment. Read more

This is really a very good wireless mouse! I have had two of these and both worked great and for a minimum of four years. The only reason they stopped working was because they were dropped to the floor and also attacked by one of our dogs. The mouse is well suited for anyone with small hands. It is light with a very light click response mode. The wheel is very good and has the feature where in if it is clicked downward a page will scroll up or down. Also, the set up is very easy. You do not need to download any software in order for it to work Additionally, it is compatible with all editions of Windows 10. I am not certain how it would work with an Apple Computer, but it works great with a Windows OS. I would highly recommend this product. I have had more than one and they work very well. Read more
