Logitech M170 Wireless Mouse for PC Mac Laptop 2 4 GHz with USB Mini Receiver Optical Tracking 12-Months

I bought this mouse to use with my older Mac Mini. it works fine from about 15 feet away (I haven't tried anything further than that) and the feel of it actually isn't that bad. It's pretty responsive to my standards and the clicking has a nice, light sound. Also, this mouse is not rechargeable via usb or anything like that, it takes normal batteries that you place inside the mouse if you were wondering. 2 things I don't like about it: 1. when you use the scrolling wheel in the top, it is a but jumpy on the screen and it isn't very smooth and 2. THE USB RECEIVER FOR IT IS LOCATED INSIDE THE MOUSE!!! I had to go on a search party to try to find where the usb receiver was until I realized it was inside the mouse, I guess that's useful especially for transporting the mouse to different places but I wish it said somewhere it was inside of it. Overall it's a good mouse, has a good price and feel, and serves well for most needs. Logitech is a good brand and this mouse is a good buy. This is a great mouse. I got two of them for a friend and then got two for myself. Small, compact, light weight and elegant looking. I never have connectivity problems. Works great. No real issues other than this one required a Blue Tooth adapter to work. This one is now my backup mouse in my laptop bag as I needed to save port space and not use the adapter. Battery life seems great. Color makes it harder to loose. Read more

Great mouse, great price. But initially, it looked like the Mini Receiver was missing from both packages. (They were both packaged differently, and both had places for the Mini Receiver, and it wasn't there.) It was only by contacting logitech customer support that I learned that the Receiver is stored inside the battery case, and I wouldn't have even noticed it there if I didn't know to look for it.
