We've used this everyday for the last 2 years and it's wonderful! The rubber pieces at the connective spots as the beginning and end do kind of move around and we have to slide them back into place. Overall; this gets the job done for what I need. (Used on 60 lb bluetick hound mix that is a strong puller. Using for fetch, running, working on recall so I can do off leash training eventually). As many have stated; the handle can come apart easily. I recommend either using some electrical tape etc or maybe straight lashing/whipping with some string or thin rope in advance of use to help keep the padding in place. Not a big deal for me. It’s a pretty thick rope and has held up so far with hiking on a variety of terrain. Any wet weather like mud you’ll likely need to give it a spray down and dry it. We’ve used it throughout the snowy months and dried in front of a heater. The silly part that I find is that the company seems to emphasize the durable locking carabiner clip on the removable bungee portion. For that to matter in my opinion, the part the bungee attaches to on the main line would need to be the same for that to be a selling point or matter. The actual clip on the rope is not the strongest. I’m not sure if this was an oversight? But the actual clip portion can kind of move back-and-forth and is on the thinner side. If you have a large, strong dog and are using this for training for quick running, and lunging that needs to be stopped, could potentially be problematic. This could be remedied by using another locking carabiner clip purchased separately and directly connect from the rope to the bungee to beef it up. Really depends on what you need. This seems to be an oversight for a lot of the long lines. Overall, I think this is a good purchase. You’ll never get a ‘perfect’ product. Read more

The leash came with a Bonnie for impact prey. It started to fray on first use. The clip that holds a piece together on the rope already broke . I do love the handle and the quality of the rope. Wish it had better quality of the other two items. Read more
This is a very well made leash that should survive decades of Great Danes and other Giant Breeds. I am in the process of trying to reduce my current Dane's extreme prey drive to something manageable. (Wish me luck and strength!!!) During my training process I use several leash lengths (40', 75', and 125'), but realized I needed a 12 to 15' leash. I am so glad I chose this Jenico brand 15' leash. The clip is super strong and easy to use, plus the handle is more comfortable than just plain webbing found on all of my other leashes. The detachable bungee section is a great idea. It's usefulness will depend on the progress rate of this particular Great Dane. If any of my other leashes ever need to be replaced, I'll be buying this brand. Read more
