This is a great knife sharpener please do not get me wrong. The system works amazingly and if done right can place a super fine edge to you knives. I like the design and I like the multiple disk options. It is easy to use, but not much better (if any) than older shapeners we have at producing a knife edge. I make these comments after using it on one good knife, but I have many others to try it on yet. One of the four grinding disks,adhesive pad was glued on crooked, causing it to turn in an imbalance position. Tried to contact the seller twice. I guess no one was home in China. Amazon is replacing the item. The nice sharpener works great it’s a shame that it got demoted to one star due to shoddy workmanship.Update got replacement item from Amazon same problem mix and match parts from two sets to get one good set.Update Amazon promptly replaced the original order and guess what same issue with the second one I’m gonna take parts from both of them. This sharper is awesome. I have always used traditional sharpening stones to take care of my knives and purchase this just to save me from bringing them to my shop to sharpen them. I didn’t have high expectations for the sharpener but wow, I was thrilled with how well and how easy it was to use. I don’t give many recommendations but this sharpener is a real winner. Read more
