I had serrated knives that were quite dull. I had an old battery powered sharpener that worked OK but couldn’t do serrated knives or scissors so I searched for one that could do all types of knives. This worked beautifully. Just a few swipes of the knife through the sharpener and they come out quite sharp. It’s light weight, small enough to be hand-held and easy to use. It comes with safety gloves so you don’t cut yourself, although the handle is far enough away from the sharpener that you might not need to wear them.
