This heated hoodie actually looks great and is made from a good heavyweight fabric, so it does a decent job of keeping you warm even if the battery dies. Speaking of the battery, I found the life to be a bit hard to gauge, but it definitely felt like it should have lasted longer than it did during my use. The heating performance itself was a bit of a mixed bag; the warmth on the chest area was very nice and noticeable, really helping to cut the chill. However, the heat in the hood section wasn't nearly as effective, and I barely noticed it compared to the body panels. Overall, the style is good and it works as a standard sweatshirt, but the electronic features have some room for improvement. I think it'd be a great gift for up to a few hours usage - for all day outdoor sessions go with something more proven. Read more

This really is warm and comfortable. The stitching was tight, and the zipper worked as it should. It is your basic looking zip up hoodie. It is heavy enough to wear on a cool day without turning on the heat. However, why not use the heat because the batteries do not die quickly. I used this for about 5 hours the first day and about 4 the next before having to charge it. It is easy to charge, and the battery pack fits nicely in the pocket. The black is a true black.
