Coming from someone who usually carries little backpack purses. This bag is spacious. You can stuff a lot of stuff in this bag. Good bag for moms with kids who need to carry stuff. It can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody. It has 2 inside pockets and a zippered pocket along with the main pouch where you can put lot of stuff. Made of soft material, it's made well and it carries well for long periods. It has a nice padded strap. Flap pocket on the nice and big. Perfect for a phone and zippered pocket on the back is great for secured pocket for quick access to wallet. Only real negative is the two small pockets on the ends of the purse. They're a bit small and don't stretch so if you have bigger hands they will be tough to use with some items. Could be a pain to get your hand down inside of it. Read more

Right at the beginning, I will mention my reason for removing one star: the product title says “leather”; you must dig deep into the “product specifications” to see that the material is actually “faux leather”. I debated removing two stars for this because it is really a misrepresentation in the title. Apart from the fact that this material will not last as long as real leather, I like the shape and function of this bag. The outside pocket is quickly accessible with a smooth magnet fastener. The side pockets also have magnets, but the ones that have to be lined up a little more carefully. I had thought about putting my phone in one of these side pockets, but the fit is a little snug and hard to quickly open the flap and tug it out in time. I think I will choose to keep my phone in one of the inner side pockets that don’t have any closure at the top. The whole main compartment closes with a zipper, but it looks fine to just leave the top open. Then it’s more of an easy access tote bag. There is an inner zipper pocket as well. The main compartment is very roomy and easily carries my iPad as shown in my photo. It comes with a clip-on beaded tassel, but I don’t feel the brown beads are a good match to the black bag, so I’m not going to use these. The length of the shoulder strap is adjustable with buckles on both ends of the strap. I am planning to rotate between using this bag and a smaller purse, depending on where I am going and what I need to bring. This is bigger than what I usually carry, but I’m often going places where I carry my water bottle and iPad, and with this bag I can put everything away. Read more

This bag is bigger than I expected, but that’s definitely not a complaint. It has lots of pockets, which makes organizing my things really easy. I love the white stitching — high-contrast stitching doesn’t always work, but with this style it looks great and adds to the design. This is the seventh bag I've got from this brand and I'm very happy! I love the rich colors, high quality stitching, and the style. The style is perfect for any season and the bag has many pockets to keep your belongings safe. It's nice and big and even fits a laptop! I would recommend this bag for daily use. That may be an unusual complaint, but when it comes to bags, they can easily take on the shape of how they’re packaged. Mine was smashed in on the sides and made the straps and the sides of the bag look sunk in…which is not hobo, it’s just smashed. That’s why I took a ⭐. Otherwise, the bag is well-made and well-crafted. It’s true to the colors and shape on the product page, except the smashing because of the packaging. I don’t know if it’s leather because it’s soft and I have other leather bags that are much more stiff; maybe vegan leather, but it does say leather on the product page, with the inside as polyester. But, either way, the design is really nice. The strap is long for the shoulder, and really only the included tassel, which was in an inside pocket for me, makes it look hobo to me. I don’t consider this a crossbody bag, which is on the product page, but more of a shoulder bag, though, if you wanted to, the strap is adjustable and long enough to be a crossbody on some…but the bag itself is not small. There are seven pockets, three on the outside with magnet closure, one on the back that’s kind of secret looking. On the inside, there is one zippered pocket and two unequal open pockets in the main compartment. I like this bag a lot, love the color combo I ordered, love it’s versatility, the size, and the somewhat unusual magnetic closures for Lovevook bags. They’re always a statement piece though.
