I recently purchased the LUCKY HERP Reptile Ceramic Heat Lamp as a replacement for a red bulb that was affecting my bearded dragon's vision. I'm pleased to say that this product has proven to be an excellent heat source for my pet, providing the necessary warmth during the night without emitting any light. One of the standout features of this heat lamp is its ability to generate heat without emitting light. This is particularly beneficial for reptiles, such as bearded dragons, as it allows them to experience the warmth they need in a dark environment without disrupting their sleep patterns. The absence of light ensures a natural and undisturbed resting environment for your pet. In terms of performance, this reptile ceramic heat bulb heats up quickly and efficiently. Within just 10 seconds of turning it on, I could feel a noticeable rise in temperature. It reaches the rated temperature in a mere 4 minutes, ensuring that the enclosure remains at the desired warmth for your reptile's comfort. Durability is another key aspect of this product. The LUCKY HERP reptile heat emitter is made of thick special ceramic material, making it stronger and more durable than ordinary heating lamps. With a lifespan of up to 10,000 hours, this heat lamp offers long-lasting performance and reliability. Additionally, installation is easy with its compatibility with standard E26 lamp bases and 120 volts. When using this reptile heat lamp, it is important to follow the safety instructions provided. Ensure the use of good quality ceramic lamp holders and maintain a distance of more than 30cm from your reptiles to prevent any potential harm. Avoid turning the bulb on and off frequently and allow some time for it to cool down before reactivating. In the unlikely event of a broken bulb, LUCKY HERP offers an unconditional refund. Their customer service is readily available to assist you, ensuring your satisfaction and providing support when needed. In conclusion, the LUCKY HERP Reptile Ceramic Heat Lamp has proven to be a reliable and efficient heat source for my bearded dragon. Its ability to provide heat without emitting light, fast heating capabilities, durability, and commitment to customer satisfaction make it an excellent choice for reptile owners. I highly recommend this product to anyone in need of a safe and effective heat source for your reptilian pets. Read more

These are perfect in colder or winter months to keep your reptile's habitat at the right temperature without making it uncomfortable with additional light - especially at night. These get pretty hot according to my heat gun so be careful of placement and make sure your terrarium's top area is the proper material to avoid melting or safety hazards. Highly recommended! Nice and hot. No light. Seems Durable enough. Functions as expected. Easy to install. Heats up my enclosure to ~78. Worked right out of the box. I will update my review if any issues arise with normal use. So far, so good. Read more
This heat emitter does a great job keeping the enclosure warm, and it heats up fast. It works well for reptiles and keeps the temperature stable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it gets extremely hot to the touch, so you have to make sure it’s in a safe fixture and positioned correctly. Other than that, it does exactly what it’s supposed to. Overall, it’s a solid heat lamp for reptiles and a good value. Read more

My daughter has a bearded dragon. She left the heat lamp on all night long for his heat and it put off a red light. He was always so tired and lethargic. It was because he was under light 24-7. This lamp is a MUST buy. This and a basking light for day is needed. This puts off the perfect amount of heat and its DARK! Then in the morning, you swap the daylight. He was so active this morning, raising his head up. Totally different lizard. Read more

I am using this device as a pump house heater in my mountain home. The old folks used to put an incandescent light bulb turned on in their pump houses to prevent freezing. I have a fiberglass fake rock over my well pump which is insulated. There is a plastic carbon filter housing attached to the pump which has frozen in the past and broken. Once the housing breaks the well pumps water continuously. I only turn the device on in the dead of winter and it has been successful in preventing the filter housing from freezing. It is screwed into a electrical clamp light fixture. Read more
