The motor is a sealed system so you can't replace it. I didn't over work it, and it worked great for the three months I used it 2021 and then increasingly less and less great the three other months (April to July) in 2022. It began making a horrendous noise, I'm assuming the bearing in the motor was seizing up. It was just a mess and left me stuck in a heat wave with no ac. The seller is difficult to reach and I haven't been able to get my product protection plan going for some reason. Just overall disappointment and headache. Read more

Bought before being out of town and now is too late to return. Cooling power is lacking but the worst part is the noise. Consistently makes multiple different LOUD noises, some of which shouldn't even be possible, the most common being loud swishing sounds. It'll often loudly rattle or buzz for several minutes. Loud enough to interrupt sleep even over white noise. Seriously, I cannot stress enough how obnoxiously loud this thing is. It is more comfortable just being hot. I've had it now for about a week. It is absolutely wonderful! Runs quiet, puts out cold air immediately, and makes my room livable when its 95 degrees outside and the central air can't keep up. Definitely worth the price. Read more

Was super worried trying to find something, during our first major heat wave of the season, that wouldn't break the budget. This made me feel way better than buying a used unit, but I wasn't expecting anything nearly this mind-blowing. The interface is super usable, the noise is not a whisper or silent but completely manageable, and the modes are well organized. It has a powerful set of fans, it's been used in some of the larger main areas of the house and was still very affective. 5 stars doesn't seem like enough! Read more

The media could not be loaded. I LOVE this unit...I was a little concerned prior to purchasing it because it's a new product and didn't have that many reviews. It's very quiet and the white noise it DOES make is very soothing. The cooling range is only supposed to be about 400 square ft, but I can feel the difference in other parts of my house...with OUT the aid of extra, strategically placed fans. I'm thrilled with it.
