Shipping was delayed, but once I received the product, I’ve been using it for a week now. I purchased Light since I typically fall between Light and Medium and also use bronzer to add depth. I love that the kit comes with sunscreen, a brush, and the foundation. The foundation was a little deeper than expected when I swatched it on the back of my hand, but it was surprisingly a good match for my face. This has a mousse-like texture that can be built up for more coverage. It feels like a tinted moisturizer, and the best part is that it adjusts to your skin tone. With proper skin prep, it wore well when I set it with translucent powder (used my own). The product was not cakey and did not cling to dry patches. It does have a light smell that dissipates within a minute — it wasn’t bothersome to me, even as someone sensitive to scents who can get headaches. I used 4 drops and had a decent amount of coverage for my entire face. I also applied liquid blush and contour stick on top, and it did not make my makeup slip. I have combo skin and only had to blot my T-zone midday. So far I have not had any reactions or any breakouts so I will continue to use this daily. The Medium shade leans a very dark orange, not at all beige on my skin. I’m usually a true level-2 beige, but this shade ended up many shades darker and warmer than any foundation I’ve ever tried, even with its light coverage. Unfortunately, even using just a drop doesn’t help. Looks just like the old QT tanning cream after it cures if anyone remembers that. Not at all attractive in my book. The sunscreen has that noticeable sunscreen scent and made my skin itchy, though the foundation itself has little smell and feels less irritating but I can still feel it sitting on my skin, not the most comfortable. But I didn’t break out like I expected, thankfully. Maybe I just got an old bottle of the new formula? The best part about this foundation is watching it shift from a white liquid, till it turns orange and you think oh no! EPIC FAILURE. This is a simple review. I bought the fair. It turned yellowy tan and is hideous. It could not be much worse. The only positive is the packaging. I would never go out in public with this on any body part. Read more
