My gums are so sensitive from using this toothpaste daily. I switched to using it at night and a different one in the morning. It took a bit to get used to no minty scent. I like that this set came with strips to use too! The strips made my teeth feel sensitive for the first day along with white spots (like in their description), but both went away the next day. This whitening toothpaste does a decent job of leaving my teeth feeling clean and fresh. The flavor is pleasant and not too strong. While it helps with overall cleanliness, I didn’t notice a significant whitening difference after consistent use. Generally I am very pleased so far with this product and its results. As i have never used whitening strips before (because of the ingredients found in other brands), mjy teeth were fairly visibly yellow and therefore I used these four days in a row followed by a weekly application for a month or so and then once a month. I also used the whitening toothpaste and mouthwash on the days before, during and after the application of the strips. I can't be certain if it was my imagination or not, but it seemed to me that a slight whitening effect was visible even after the first treatment. I agree that likely the effects of this one are more subtle than other products but I am happy with a more natural effect. The strips are easy to apply, the mouthwash and toothpaste taste great and seem to be having a desired effect. The only negative (why this isn't five stars, especially as there is no way to leave 4.5) is the design of the toothpaste tube is such that it is quite easy for it to pop open during regular travel in a toiletries bag. During a recent trip, it popped open and necessitated a 45minute irritating clean up of every item in the bag and the bag itself which will likely remain forever tainted in the small grooves and zipper teeth.
