This Lunya Slumberknit long maxi robe is a total dream. Right away, the tailoring and attractive design stood out in the picture online and it lived up to my expectations! It's so soft and stretchy, with a luxurious, slinky feel. I love the beautiful way the fabric hangs and the side slits give it a flowy movement. The wider belt is a great feature because it stays in place without rolling. The buttons on the inside keep the robe closed, if the belt comes undone. It's perfectly tailored for me with an ideal length for both the robe and the sleeves. Going up a size was a smart choice and it makes me feel both comfortable and sexy. Wondering if I am utilizing the interior button loop closure for intended purpose or if I am missing something. It takes a bit of a struggle to use this elastic loop at side or hip. Additionally, it makes fit somewhat confining. Further, the loop is so small it causes a considerable pull on button and is hard to navigate with fingers. Realistically, the use of the interior loop is not favorable. In like fashion, the 3 button front closure has minimized functionality. While well concealed, the placard requires a bit of fumbling with to close. Oddly, there was some weird, random orange stitching on one of the button holes (I think that's what it is???). As it relates to ease of use, I also prefer Lunya's attached belt design. The sleeves do run narrow but are not constricting. The robe feels incredibly soft. The fabric aligns with the comfort level consistently provided by Lunya products. Although apples to oranges, I can say that my washable silk robe will not have any concerns about being unemployed in the near future. Overall, I find the functionality, design, and comfort level of my washable silk far superior, but the price point is also considerably higher. I would advise considering sizing up if slimmer fit is not desired. I am 5'9 and 130 lbs. 35 B bust and felt robe ran small. As a Lunya loyalist, it pains me to say I was a bit underwhelmed with this robe. If gifting, I would choose the short robe over this, but again one is long and one is short; so its all subjective.
