Luoika Womens Extra Wide Calf Knee High Boots Wide Width Slouchy Knee-High Boots

So I'm short but have wide calves (recently measured at 17"). Yes, I'm a bit older now but still active. So, I'm tired of squishing into tall tight boots. I saw these and wasn't sure but the fact that they are extra wide on top (and in the boot) made me order them. I have not worn these yet, except to try them on. At 5'2 they are are REALLY NICE height on the leg. (I had to order 7.5W) but I'm not normally a wide. So the feel extra roomy but then I wasn't wearning thick winter socks. There is a bit of weight to them. The zipper is nice and has a little protective flap on it. I think I move a bit slower in snowy walking conditions, so I think these will be great for dead of winter. I even have room to tuck my pants in. So while they are spacious, I think in winter they'll be just fine to wear to work, or in any deep snow situations etc. I like the thick platform as that keeps you warmer in winter too. I will spray some protector on them and anticipate I'll get some decent use out of them. So, for now 5 star. I would not have purchased a 7.5w if I could just gone with a 7.5 black. Oh, they feel pretty secure too, no worry of slipping as if it had more of a heel. And no worry of squished toes. Overall - high marks! Read more

I ordered extra-wide and they are actually too wide but there are well built, the calves are plenty wide. They stay up well, shaft is plenty stiff but comfortable. Coloring is smooth dark black with a more masculine boot look and feel with the decorative buckle. Read more

I was incredibly disappointed with these boots. While the style is beautiful, the heel is comfortable, and the construction is of high quality, they are definitely NOT wide calf as advertised. The size chart indicated that a size 10.5 should fit a 20" calf, but even with my 18" calves, I couldn't even get them zipped past my ankles. Read more

Great sole. Great fabric. Love the full zip and goring at the top. These circumference of the calf is fantastic. The generous size in the foot makes it where I can use my orthotics and wear socks comfortably. The only odd part of these boots is that for 4 inches right above the ankle, they are very very snug. I have to fold my pants up so that they gather at my calf. There is no room for socks or pants at this 4 inch area at the ankle. It’s definitely easy to overcome but it’s odd that the entire length isn’t generous. Read more
