YES YES YES!!! As a woman who has always had incredibly large calf muscles (whether I was 100lbs or 180lbs) I have never in my life been able to find knee-length boots that FIT and WERE CUTE. They were either insanely ugly or they were so tight I could barely zip them (if at all). These however ARE AMAZING. Not only are they insanely comfortable, very roomy (I could easily have worn thick socks or leggings with these), and adorable. BUT they are also shockingly nice to walk in. As someone who basically rocks sneakers with insoles every day, I decided to take a risk and wear these 3-inch boots (without any insoles) around NYC for Thanksgiving to see how they fit. I walked 12k steps and yes, my feet were a little sore, but not the way they normally are. I could have easily kept going and done another 3k steps without issue. No blisters, no squished toes, no aching arches - just a little soreness which is frankly expected after walking in heeled boots around the uneven streets of New York. Yes, the calf is big calf friendly. Easily 18+ inch calves and I’m wearing leggings and tube socks. The bottom and heel are very study. A light clack sound on the bottom, it won’t annoy you too bad when you walk. Nice texture and a true black. Slightly narrow foot part of the shoe but it makes my feet feel supported; not squeezed. These boots are super cute! And quite comfortable! I would have kept them, however they run very wide in the foot and extremely wide in the calf. And as far as the wideness in the calf, I typically have a wider calf that’s hard to fit, but these were too wide. Could I have made them work in the calf?
