I was looking for a denim skirt for a future trip I’m taking, really wanted to be able to wear sneakers, boots or sandals and still have it look good! This skirt fits the bill! The denim is solid quality and has a very good feel to it. It does come up high on the waist and buttons down the front. It also has decent pockets! I bought a medium, It does cover the knees ( I am 5’4”) however on a slimmer person (I have been endowed with generous hips), the skirt may sit lower at the waist and be a litter longer on the leg. We ordered this white denim skirt in a size small for our teenage daughter. Before washing, it was way too large in the waist for her to wear. We machine washed and dried it, despite the tags saying not to tumble dry. Afterward, the skirt definitely shrunk so that the waist fit well now, and the length was better for her 5 ft 3 in height. The skirt seemed to be made of a thick, stiff denim, and our daughter found it comfortable to wear. The stitching seemed good. The only notable negative is that arrived wrinkled, and remained wrinkled after washing and the use of a wrinkle release spray. Otherwise, it seems nice. Read more

This jean skirt is just what I was looking for. It has an aline shape but not too wide. Fits close to the body in the hip area then has a bit of a flair. It washes well in cold water and I did not notice any shrinkage. I touched it up with a steam iron. It's a tiny bit longer than I like so I may put in a small hem.The small fits very well. I bought the white skirt; I am 5'7 and 135 to 140 lbs. I have several of this brand skirt where I have ordered a LARGE every time. They fit perfect and to me; this time this skirt in a LARGE was longer than the fringe one and the corduory one so what I did was wash in cold water in a mesh bag then I let it go into the dryer all the way through, checking on it; perfect. Now perfect on waist like the others and the length. Noticed this skirt was a little wider. So now perfect. Had read one other person's review and did the same.
