This torch is a very nice easy to use Kitchen Torch. It is well designed, solid, and works perfectly. One issue I had is filling it. I used a Ronson butane container with a long tip. However, the first time I tried filling it per instructions, it kept "blowing" back butane and getting all over my left hand. (I did purge the lighter per the instructions before filling). I tried 3 more times finally getting some in. The only thing I can see as a problem is the Ronson tube doesn't fit over the fill tube on the torch. Next time I try to fill it I think I will enlarge the end of the Ronson filler tube just a tiny bit so it can fit over the torch tube a have a tighter fit as you press down to fill it. Read more

For the price I'm extremely satisfied! This mini torch is well built and fairly robust. The instructions say when filling to push the butane tank 2 to 3 times for 4 to 6 seconds each time. I was only able to do this one time successfully. When I tried the second time, I got lots of liquid butane blowout around the filler nozzle. I would recommend wearing some gloves when filling. The flame on this is quite nice with good length adjustability. The flame was very easy to blow out so I wouldn't recommend using this outdoors on a windy day. For my purposes, mainly dressing 3D prints, this will work outstanding! Read more
Love the torch ! Has a excellent flame and is very fuel efficient. Love the grip and the fact that it does not get super heated all around the head of the torch. The only problem i had was that the igniter failed on it. But in the defense of the torch, I did use it extremely alot and I did put it through its paces lol.none the less I was very pleased with it. It has a nice look to it and I was planning on using it to carmelize the sugar on a set of cookies. First thing is that it does not come with fuel, so I had to go and make a separate purchase. Second, the flame goes out after about a second, although I can still hear the gas coming out of the device. I had to keep pressing the trigger to get the actual flame. This limited the use of the product and gave me a sore thumb from constantly having to press on the trigger to activate the flame. Read more

Ok first off... I am not using this as a kitchen torch. I do lapidary (Polish and facet gemstones), where I have to melt special wax onto brass, stainless steel, or wooden dops (rods) to adhere the stone to the dop. This is normally a tedious and lengthy process. But this little torch, which lights on the first strike, has a large range of flame adjustment, and uses normal butane you can get anywhere, making quick work of it. I will be ordering a few more so I can keep one dedicated at each station. Read more
