I'm 5'9" and 180 lbs, and the size large fits perfectly—very true to size. The waistband is comfortable and flattering for a fuller figure. While I like the skirt well enough, it is definitely not rayon and spandex as advertised. It looks and feels like 100% polyester. There are no tags anywhere on the skirt that list the fiber content, and the bag it arrived in also doesn't give that info. The washing instructions recommend a delicate cold water cycle with line dry, which is what I would do with a rayon skirt. I used a regular cycle and dried it in a dryer, and it came out fine with no wrinkles--further proof it is most likely polyester, as rayon would have shrunk and been a wrinkly mess. I'm traveling soon to a very hot weather area and plan to take this skirt, even though it's almost certainly polyester. Hopefully it will be breathable enough and not overly hot to wear. I packed this for a recent vacation and it is a great travel skirt. Stuffed it in my suitcase and it came out perfect and wrinkle free. It also dries super fast which is convenient for wet weather. The fit is streamlined without a bulky waistline, despite having pockets. I did knock off a star because the waistband is a little scratchy. It also fits a little tight in the waist on me (I ordered the medium and I am 5'4" 140lbs), but I think it will stretch a bit with use.
