I've owned this for 2.5 years now, solid charger for the money, you can definitely charge your macbook with this. It's actually a wee bit more powerful than the standard one that ships with the product, and your phone will likely say something like "super fast charging". That being said, there are some gripes. Physically, as well as audibly, it feels really cheap. If your plan is to take this with you often like I have, expect it to split in half at the seams eventually if say it falls out of your bag one too many times. My solid fix has been gorilla tape, you can easily just clip it back together, like a container once you see the horrific, incredibly empty inside. Depending on what you charge, it will probably make a not really loud or bothersome, but noticeable ringing as soon as it starts actually delivering juice to your device. Read more
