These Madison Avenue cat eye reading glasses are pretty cute but the top corners of each pair of glasses aren't exactly "cat eye" because the corners don't actually come to a point. Although they lean towards the cat eye shape, the top corners seem to be flattened to a straight end rather than a pointed tip which I think takes away from the cat eye look a bit. As far as functionality, they work great. The lenses are crisp and clear and the +1.00 magnification seems to be on point. I love that you get 2 pairs of reading glasses so that there's always a spare pair in case one gets lost or breaks and the colors and patterns are cute and stylish. I love the pair with the light pink colored arms but the black and white spotting on the front of the other frame is adorable too. They are fairly lightweight but don't feel flimsy and they are well put together. The arms are tightly screwed on and they stay open or closed on their own, no weak hinges. Overall these are great reading glasses and I like them but I'd love them if they were more "cat eye" by the standard definition. Read more
