I got this one because it was cheaper than other individual packets.... But it's HALF the matcha of what I usually buy (Matcha Love). .35oz (maybe 1/4tsp) vs .7 oz. Not quite enough to feed my addiction. It's my fault for not looking, but want other people to know so they don't find themselves with an unnecessary caffeine headache! Read more

The box of this item was deformed which I got disappointed at first, but when I tried to opened one sachet of the matcha and make a drink, it was good. This is the best matcha I have ever tried that does not have after taste. Read more
I am still developing my taste for green teas and I found this one to be a very mild and pleasant cuppa. The bags are nice and they come in a foil wrapper for freshness, but not good for resealing. The tea was definitely fresh and when brewed as a standard green tea, it was lightly flavored, not grassy or bitter. I used to host Japanese exchange students, and got a wild hair for some green tea. I picked this one, and wasn't disappointed. It's the flavor I remember. It is a tad bitter, but that's the real deal, from what I was told. Very happy with this item. Read more
The taste chart accurately characterizes this tea! This tea is a bit more bitter (astringent) than regular matcha. It has a bolder aroma too, probably from the addition of sencha. The intensity of the tea could be changed by shortening the brewing time. Because this tea is so intense, I like that the tea bag could be brewed twice, or more, if desired. Read more
This is a lighter flavor than other similar types of tea I’ve tried, especially when oversteeped. It was maybe a tiny bit bitter when I overbrewed it, but not so much to make it unpleasant. When brewed correctly it was a lovely cup of tea. I like the tea bags and the foil pack for freshness. Read more
