Adjustable straps makes it easy for anyone of different preferences to use. The bag has ample storage thats for sure, with all the zipper pockets and the wide mouth opening for the laptop itself with a plethora of pockets in the laptop area as well. Should easily fit a 17.3 as it swallows my 15.6 with ease and plenty of space left. Definitely a high quality and hopefully super durable bag as well. Will see how it stands the test of time. I am very pleased and impressed with the design of the Maelstrom Laptop backpack. I particularly like the leather like trim, the 2 handles in addition to the tradition backpack straps and structured frame making the bag sturdier than others I have had. Besides the large laptop compartment and the half dozen others inside ,there are many compartments and pockets on the outside (2 zip ups on the front, 2 water bottle sleeves on the sides and an addition padded compartment on the back).It is surprising that the with all these compartments and pockets the backpack remains seek and not bulky.
