I have a Jura E6 at home and I am getting shots just as good with this machine at work, Also the frother works well also. Love love this machine. It did take 2 other Crystal ordering 2 other expresso machines but I came across this one and told myself 3 strikes I am out. But oh man this is a very nice machine. I was looking for an inexpensive but very good espresso machine and found this one, the Maestri House Espresso Machine, 20 Bar ULKA Pump, Compact Espresso Maker. I really like the size and looks of this machine and it is very easy to use and cleans up easy. It sits right beside my Keurig so I can get hot water from my Keurig when I want to make an Americano. this is an easy to operate expresso machine. I read the instructions carefully. I clean it (run water through) as directed and expect it will work for a long time. I only have a coffee or two in the morning so it's not in big use. But the steamer and water wand works great. Espresso comes out fine. I am really enjoying it, had it a couple months. Read more

I bought this machine after reading the reviews and thought this would be a great machine... However, even after cleaning the machine three times, the water smells and tastes of iodine after running through the pump... It's not the water. The same water smells and tastes fine coming out of my other espresso machine, a DeLonghi that I've had for over five years and has been losing pressure. This was going to be its replacement, but now I think not. I am sending this machine back to Amazon. Read more

This machine makes excellent espresso! Follow the instructions, running a pre heat cycle. Dry the basket, fill it using the weight recommendations. The tamp is spring loaded to let you know the correct pressure to pack the basket. Then hit brew, and you will be rewarded with an exceptional pull of espresso! Prime the steam wand by running it into a towel for a second before use (as it will shoot a little water before steam comes out). As a 1 month owner of this brand new Maestri House Espresso machine it has worked flawlessly. A word of warning, be careful how you lift it to move it as the water container is not locked in place and you can drop the whole thing. Read more
