I wanted to get some more pairs of shorts for the gym and pickleball and decided to give this pair of running shorts a try. The first thing I noticed was the design, the blue was perfect and I love the bold black zipper on the sides, it's just a little different than a typical pair of mesh shorts that don't have any extra features added. These are exceptionally light weight, like a feather. I think these are most ideal for summer or any activity that requires fast movement like basketball or tennis. On cooler days, I might go for a slightly longer or heavier pair of mesh shorts instead. The blue color is exactly my style and goes great with a lot of my more neutral shirt colors which are often gray black or white. It does well enough to wick away sweat and moisture, but I won't say it dries as quick as other shorts I have owned. I also love that they are exceptionally flexible. I can do high knee raises and other cardio with zero impact on my performance. They also have very deep pockets, so if you tend to carry a larger phone while running this might be a good option. The pockets go almost all the way down to the bottom of the shorts. The waistband is extremely elastic, and I would say it fits me true to size so whatever your normal waist size is, that's what you'll need. Very comfortable and nicely made. I got these in 2xl because that's what I usually wear. The size guide in the listing indicated that their 2xl is a 37.4 inch waist. I assume that is the tightest before the elastic is stretched. I wear a 40 or 42 inch in jeans so I thought they may be real tight or not fit at all, but they fit me perfect. I think their size chart is off or just needs to indicate the maximum waist of the elastic or something. Anyway, they are made well, very nice feeling while wearing them. I would prefer the inseam to be a bit longer, but I knew they were short when I ordered them. They are perfect for me to workout in or wear around the house.
