I love the security and ease of use. Keeps my phone handy. I have the 16 pro max which is often a bit bulky for a pocket. So this lanyard is great. Very well made and tough. Update 9/29/25...so less than 12 months later one of the little 'carabiners' has broken. I have not abused this lanyard and I really loved the thing but losing a key part to breakage in less htan one year...is not what I would expect. Too bad I had to take it down from 5 stars to 3. I used a previous version of this case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max and loved it. I drop my phone a lot so I need solid protection. After a year and many drops, my phone was still in pristine condition at trade-in. I also needed a lanyard solution for active travel use where I needed to keep the phone’s camera readily available while also using trekking poles and this fits the bill nicely. I discovered I liked leaving the lanyard attachments on the phone all the time, even went not adventure traveling, as they provide an easy “by feel” orientation of the phone. This new version of the case added the handy kickstand. And I think the deep cut in the case for the camera control actually makes the camera control easier to use: no accidental activations or accidental long presses. The new lanyard has all sorts of cool features they really don’t explain in the description, see my attached photo: 1) there are additional connection point like on a backpack, where you could clip on things like water bottles or glasses cases; 2) there is a D-Ring where you can attach the lanyard to itself, with just one clip on the phone; this allows you to easily pocket the phone while it’s on the lanyard or carry it slung cross body; this can be used in conjunction with… 3) a magnetic quick release, making it easy to detach the phone from the lanyard to put it on a charger or pass it to a friend. I bought this case for my mother, who recently upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The case feels extremely durable, which is great since she tends to drop her phone frequently and has broken her previous one. It was really easy to install, and we both love the included strap, which allows her to wear the phone around her neck. She especially enjoys that many of her friends have a similar case with a strap, so it feels like a fun trend. Overall, it’s been a perfect choice for her! Read more

As of July 2025, this item has 3.6 out of 5 stars. That is surprisingly high rating. I paid $79.99 for the item plus tax. As solely a leash for the phone it’s mid. The leash is very bulky and clumsy. And the hooks that hold the phone case broke four months after using the item. The 1 year limited warranty is basically useless. When you read the warranty it’s lists 90% of what it DOES NOT COVER (including these broken hooks) and 10% of what it does cover if you register with Mageasy or Amazon directly. And customer pays for shipping both ways. The phone stand is very flimsy and weak. The only thing that works well is the leash and there are soooo many other phone strap leashes out there for better price. I picked this expensive item because I wanted a sturdy phone stand but this is not it. When the hooks for the case break (same problem happened to other customers) Mageasy Odessy Ultra will not replace them rendering the strap useless. $79.99 for four months of use and a useless warranty. Really enjoy the protection this case gives to my phone. It does not only have side sturdy protections but also elevates the camera lenses to avoid scratches . The holding 360 ring works wonders with fast charge . The carry on lanyard will also be helpful for hikes. Overall very sturdy product that protects the phone from all angles. Read more
