I had another laptop desk from the same manufacturer that was good, but I moved around too much and it was meant to be stationary. I purchased this instead. Note that you will need a separate lap desk for your keyboard mouse to make this ergonomic. You can also raise it up to be a sit/stand station, but again, you'll need a place to put your keyboard. Still, this is a great solution for small work-from-home spaces! It's well made, easy to assemble and aesthetically pleasing. Well worth the price tag. I'll note that the other laptop stand (check the manufacturer's store) was better for bringing the laptop to bed when my back was bothering me; the laptop arm on this one is short and doesn't swing over the bed, so I do not recommend this one if you're looking for something you can use while laying down. But the tablet arm does swing over the bed, if that helps. You could potentially swap the laptop and tablet connectors, but since I have the other laptop stand, I'm just moving that to the bedroom in case I need it again. Read more

Just got this in today. I had some apprehension about the product, but after installing it, I was wowed. It is strong, easy to install, and just looks good. I was able to mount my laptop on it and type with it. I am particullary impressed by the base stand; it is made heavy and easily supports my laptop and tablet. Great product. Read more

We bought this for my brother in law who lives in a skilled nursing facility. We taught him how to call people using Siri and added a tablet so he had streaming options. The laptop holder isn’t meant for a tablet, but we added 3M picture hangers to keep it attached and it works well. Now his electronics don’t take up space on his bedside table used for meals and drinks. As soon as we set it up, someone walking by, backed up and did a double take. They loved it. We think it will serve him well. Getting him comfortable with the tablet will take a while longer as he’s in his 70’s. Really sturdy and functional! Read more

Well-made stand with a nice, heavy base that deters tipping. Even on it's lowest setting, the stand holds the laptop too high for sitting on a couch but we've made it work by turning the laptop arm upside-down. It looks a little awkward this way, tho, because this makes the laptop platform upside-down also. It would be nice if the platform could swivel 360deg somehow. It works well for my wife so we decided not to return it. The stand really is sturdily built. It would look great in a stand-up occasionally type office. Read more

My goodness I don’t know where to start with the amazing quality to this unit. The cast aluminum components are incredibly sturdy and it holds all of my components so perfectly. Even the machine screws that hold it together are fabulous quality. Lots of thought to the design went into this. Read more

It would have been perfect if it had arrived with all the parts!! When desk arrived I was super excited. When I was putting together, I was glad all parts were metal and sturdy, but guess what, it did not have the part to hold the laptop or the part to hold the screen and it was missing a whole bunch of screws. Tried to get replacement parts sent, but it's a 3rd party vendor and oye!!! What a headache! Sending it all back for a refund! Read more

This is great to have a standing desk at home. I used a super clamp from Manfroto and a platform to make a third shelf between where the laptop and iPad is so I can rest a camera or a blue tooth speaker for when I bring this set up on photoshoots. It is really nice to use. At home, I roll it around all over the place, the bedroom, the living room, near the balcony window, even in the bathroom while I am pooping. This thing is amazing. This device was easy to assemble, appears to be sturdy, and does very well what it is supposed to do. We like it, and we may well order another soon. It is well worth what it cost. BTW, because my wife's iPad is not quite wide enough to be securely held in place by the unit's spring-loaded side holders, I use two large rubber bands, just to be safe. But that's no doubt due to my own insecurities, and perhaps, my spouses habit of upsetting things. The iPad does sit on a shelf on the unit. This is a minor point. We like the item very much. Though it cost more than most of its competition, it is well worth the purchase price. Read more
