I was skeptical that this would be study enough to hold my laptop and be light enough to move around; well I was pleasantly surprised. I am disabled and spend a lot of time in a recliner so this had to be light enough when holding the laptop to move out of the way with one hand so I can get out of the chair. Then be able to move it back into a usable position when back in the chair. The pros: 1. Assembly was a piece of cake. All the parts were there and they all went together as designed. 2. The laptop holder is strong and the clamps hold it securely so you do not have to worry about it falling off when using it or moving the stand. 3. The height adjustment is more than adequate. 4. I am a large and comfortable guy (read BIG) and I was worried that the arm would not be long enough to bring the laptop in front of me. It is long enough and does a great job with the two articulating joints. 5. As advertised the feet easily go under my chair even on a carpet. Cons: 1. The knob that you turn to tighten the height adjustment is too small. You cannot get a good enough grip on it to really tighten it so and times everything will slide down. Easy fix would be to change to a 3" knob or lever. 2. No place for a mouse; I know I am old school but I like a mouse verses the touch pad. That's it: I have had it for a few weeks and really love it. I highly recommend this product and would buy it again. I have no affiliation with this product or the manufacturer. Read more

I bought this for my Samsung Galaxy S8 ultra then the second for my wife's iPad Pro. The V-shape feet is very crucial to me because i needed one that fits between couch and wall. I think this one is the best I found on amazon. The aluminum body (all the way to the notebook holder) feels sturdy and has a nice finish. Slightly rounded design on the arms are very nice touch compared to typical square-ish monitor arm like design from other companies. I don't feel much wobble from the setup due to a single pole design (not extending) and the long v-shape feet. Even though it includes other holders, the notebook holder works best for big and heavy tablets. We use S8 vertically and iPad horizontally (clamp design from most companies usually does not work well with big tablets IMHO). The default setting is you fix the first arm from the pole, which makes the swivel quite limited. Only the second arm swivel (pictured on the left stand). The product includes 360 ring stopper that make the first arm to do 360 (pictured on the right stand). Of course you have to put some weight on V-shape feet for that. The cable liner(?) is also nice tough (better than others i have seen). Also the customer service from the company was very responsive for a missing part from one of the order. Overall, very happy with the product and the setup. Read more

This is a solid, well-designed product. I really like the swing arm, joint, height-ring, extruded pole, and other features. I didn't see anything else that checked all my boxes. I use it with my tablet and laptop in bed and could use it for my phone. I currently have the base between mattress and box springs. I would rather have it on the floor but will need to put some weight to prevent backward tipping. Perfectly stable with my devices leaning forward over the bed, but if I swing them out of the way, the base needs more weight. But I still like the base design which is versatile. I can easily make it work on the floor. I only wish accessories existed to get a second arm alone to use the included phone mount, or a small table mount for underneath my tablet. But those accessories do not exist. Read more

It took about 30 mins to put together. Not a trivial task, but there was a Youtube video mentioned in the instructions that was helpful (not very professionally made, but adequate). It grips my laptop well enough for me to be comfortable with it not falling out, even at some pretty extreme angles. I don't recommend typing directly on the laptop while it's on it (use an wireless keyboard in your lap or whatever), as it will jiggle around a bit. You can if you must, but I'd find it distracting beyond a few sentences here and there. One slight disappointment is the main arm - the height adjustment is awkward involving a thumb screw and there's no rotation of that arm around the base - only at the 2 arm joints (like the elbow and the wrist). I paired it with a zero-gravity chair and have a super ergonomic workstation for long hours of coding/learning/whatever after I'm tired of sitting at the desk or standing. Variety is key. All in all I give it 5 stars because I don't think there's any other product that would meet my needs this well. Read more
