The VCR/DVD arrived in excellent condition snd well packaged. Installation went smoothly, but the DVD drawer failed to open either by remote or manually. Before returning the system, we called for assistance using the clearly attached phone number. The remote control still had batteries in the control and were corroded. I cleaned the batteries and inserted new ones but the.remote did not work correctly with the player. Overall it was a terrible experience and left a black mark on Amazon. Read more

remote works with dvd but not work with VCR . can't use tracking feature I contacted Magnavox and I ordered a new remote from them. It is more expensive, but I wasn't sure if the those advertised on Amazon were compatible with the dvd'vcr machine. What I had not realized when I ordered the machine was that it was made in 2005. I might not have ordered it if I had known that at the time. Surprisingly, it does look very clean and does work well. I will let you know how this all works out. Read more
